Our return policy is simple and direct. Within
30 days of receiving your order, you may return any item shipped
by TakeHerb.com for a full credit or refund under any of the
following circumstances:
- Item is in new and unopened condition with original packaging
and accessories
- Item was received damaged or defective
- Incorrect item was shipped
We're sorry, but we do not accept returns of opened items
or items returned more than 30 days after delivery. Products
cannot be returned if the reason is that you do not like a
particular flavor. Please try samples of products from your
local store to be sure you enjoy a particular flavor.

and we are more than happy to assist you in returning your
order. In your email please include your name, order number,
email, contact phone number, and the reason you want to return
each item (choose one of the following):
"E" - Ordered the wrong item
"M" - Received an item that was not ordered
"S" - Did not like item or changed mind
"Q" - Item was damaged, defective, or missing parts
"T" - Item did not arrive in time
"O" - Other (please describe)
Our Customer Service specialist will reply to your message
and, if necessary, send you shipping instructions for returning
the item(s).
We'll also provide free return shipping label if your return
is the result of our error. If your return is not the result
of our error, the shipping costs associated with your return
will be deducted from the amount of the credit or refund.
Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will
be issued within 30 days and an e-mail confirmation will be
sent.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
In the event that any of your products arrive damaged, or
you receive the wrong item, please E-mail our Customer Service
Department at [email protected] within 48 hours. DO NOT DISPOSE
OF ANY DAMAGED PRODUCTS until you contacted Customr Service
for instructions, as we may require return of the damaged
goods. In these situations we will promptly send you replacement
product and a pre-paid return label to return the damaged
or incorrect merchandise.
During the hot weather months, or anytime the temperature
will be above 70 degrees, we recommend you select the Express
Shipping Option for heat sensitive items. Please remember
to take into account the time in transit and possible path
your package may take. You don't want your package sitting
in a hot shipping warehouse over the weekend or on your hot
porch waiting for you to come home. Please make sure someone
is available to accept your package when it arrives.
IMPORTANT: During
summertime months many products (such as bars) will melt if
left outside in the heat. If you will not be available to
receive your package(s), please leave instructions for the
carrier to leave your delivery in a cool area, at a neighbor’s
house, or not to deliver if no one is home. Our products are
shipped in fresh condition and stored in a climate-controlled
warehouse. We cannot accept returns for heat-damaged products.
Unopened products can be returned for a full refund of the
purchase price. Products must be sealed, unopened, and in
original packaging. Products must be shipped back to TakeHerb
at the customers' expense. All merchandise must be insured
properly by the customer. Refunds will be issued upon receipt
of the returned products. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.
If items are not insured properly and get lost or damaged
when returned, we cannot grant refunds. All approved returns
must be shipped back to the address listed on the invoice.
International Shipping Restrictions
It is the responsibility of our customers to make sure that
they are allowed to import nutritional supplements from the
U.S. If the Customs in your country returns your order to
us, either because you did not have the permission to import
such supplements or because such supplements are banned in
your country, we will refund back to your credit card minus
the shipping charge. Shopping with TakeHerb.com is risk-free!
SHIPMENT CONTRACT & TRACKING
We will charge you a fee of $5.00 to re-ship each
and every package that is either incorrectly addressed or
re-routed back to us due to customer error. We generate our
shipping labels from the information the customer provides
us, so if you give us an incorrect or incomplete address (incorrect
zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name, etc.)
and your package is returned to us, you will be charged $5.00
per package to have the package(s) re-shipped. For customers
who elect to cancel their returned orders, the order will
be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Shipping costs cannot
be refunded.
TakeHerb.com is not responsible for any lost packages which
are incorrectly addressed due to customer error. Again, we
generate our shipping labels from the information the customer
provides us, so if you give us an incorrect or incomplete
address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office
number/name, etc.) and your package is lost, TakeHerb.com
is not responsible.
If you contact us after your order has been placed regarding
an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we will make
every effort to correct your information prior to your package
being shipped. However, once your package has been processed
and shipped, we cannot make address corrections to your package.
If your package is re-routed, returned or lost, all policies
listed above apply. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO INCLUDE YOUR CORRECT
SHIPPING ADDRESS.
All items purchased from TakeHerb.com are made pursuant to
a shipment contract. All orders are shipped with a tracking
number. By placing an order with us, both parties (you and
TakeHerb.com) agree to use the shipping company's tracking
information as the final determinant in assessing whether
or not a package was delivered. If we ship a package, and
the tracking information shows that it did not arrive to you,
it remains our responsibility to get a replacement package
to you. If the tracking information shows that it was delivered,
then it was delivered. This contract commences at the time
of shipment and means that the risk of loss and title for
such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Please
be sure that your address is correct.
