Synopsis: An herbal supplement taken 30-60 minutes prior to sexual activity to increase energy, stamina, and sensory stimulation.
Our Review: We are always dubious when it comes to sexual aphrodisiacs. Outside of Viagra and Tribulus , we have been disappointed with just about every product to come across our digestive systems (especially the ones for women) and approach these products with extreme skepticism. Most contain stimulants typically found in Red Bull, along with some combination of Horny Goat Weed, Ginko Biloba, Ginseng, Tribulus, or any number of other substances purported to make one hornier or give one better orgasms. Usually, we get about the same jolt as if we'd consumed a good cup of coffee or a can of Red Bull.
But, of course, the proof is in the proverbial pudding, so our test of BOOM! Energy took place after working a grinding 13 hour-plus shift at this year's Erotica LA show. The nice folks at their booth gave us a few packets to try and we shoved them into the bottom of our show bags without much thought and continued on our merry way.
It wasn't until late that night, after we got home, that we figured it would be the perfect time to try some BOOM. We were so exhausted from standing on our feet and talking to people that we had no erotic energy whatsoever. We opened our packets, which consist of about half a teaspoon of chocolate powder, and washed them down with milk, as the instructions suggested. I pulled out our massage table and gave Eddy a full body work over, figuring she'd fall asleep within seconds as she usually does under my probing fingers.
As I was setting up the table, however, we both felt unusually warm "down there" and I got rock hard just watching my wife get up on the table.
