Extracted from the seeds contained in the intensely red berry-like fruits (or hips) of a wild rose bush (Rosa moschata or Rosa rubiginosa) that grows in the southern Andes region, Rose Hip Seed Oil is unique amongst those vegetable oils containing retinol (Vitamin A) and is also high in Vitamin C.

Most Rose Hip Seed Oils are produced in Chile and Argentina and are commonly used in skin care products. Rose Hip Seed Oil is used for a variety of skin conditions (including acne, boils, dermatitis, and eczema), mature and sun burnt skin as well as brittle nails and wrinkles plus it is frequently applied to the skin to heal scarring and diminish photo aging. This oil is useful in treating damaged skin tissue caused by scaldings, burns, and varicose veins as well as being used to soothe and heal irritated, chapped skin.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Rose Hip Seed Oil can be used on your skin as well as in face oils, creams, massage oils, and lotions. Add a milliliter of Helichrysum Essential Oil and a milliliter of Lavender Essential Oil to an ounce of Hazelnut Oil and an ounce of Rose Hip Seed Oil to apply on your skin twice a day for 7 to 10 days for an effective wound healing of recent cuts, and scrapes (this blend has also been proven successful on surgery incisions).

If you want to take care of those older scars that you have gotten from wounds or acne (including keloid scars), just add a milliliter of Helichrysum Essential Oil and a milliliter of Sage Essential Oil and apply this oil blend regularly to your skin for 3 to 6 months.

You can even heal your stretch marks by mixing an ounce of Rose Hip Seed Oil and an ounce of Hazelnut Oil with a milliliter of Sage Essential Oil and 2 milliliters of Rosemary Verbenone Essential Oil and apply this oil blend to your skin for 3 to 6 months.
