Juniper Berry Essential Oil can help to calm your nerves plus relieve any anxiety, nervous tension, and mental exhaustion you might have. It is also helpful for cellulite, fluid retention, any toxin buildup, intestinal mucus, regulating periods, and easing painful cramps.
An effective diuretic and antiseptic of the genito-urinary tract, Juniper Berry Essential Oil is applied to treat colds, flu, hemorrhoids, cystitis, kidney stones, gout, arthritis, rheumatism, eliminating uric acid, helping the digestive system (including the cases of obesity, over-indulgence of food, and premenstrual bloating), acne, eczema, oily skin, weeping eczema, psorasis, dandruff, plus alleviating inflammation as well as being a tonic for a congested liver.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Add 2 drops of Juniper Berry Essential Oil, 3 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil, 5 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil, and 20ml of any carrier oil (such as Grapeseed Oil, Almond Oil, Olive Oil) together and massage deep into your muscles and arthritic joints.
Put 2 to 5 drops of Juniper Berry Essential Oil in a burner or vaporizer to treat any addictions, nervous tension, hangovers, stimulate your nervous system as well as to bolster your spirit during challanging situations.
You can add 2 to 3 drops of Juniper Berry Essential Oil in a massage oil, base cream or lotion for oily skin, arthritis, swollen joints, blocked pores, psorasis and other skin ailments. Dilute some Juniper Berry Essential Oil on a compress or in a bath for arthritis, eczema and general infections.
Even though this essential oil is nontoxic, it can be sensitizing and may be slightly irritating to your skin so it would be better to handle this essential oil with caution. Due to its ability to stimulate the uterine muscles, you should not use Juniper Berry Essential Oil while you are pregnant and those who have kidney problems should not use this essential oil because of its nephrotoxicity.

Juniper Berries are often known for their use in culinary dishes besides flavoring gin (in fact, those berries that have been used to flavor gin were distilled to make its essential oil) plus these berries are also used in perfumes. Even though the Juniper Berries imported into Egypt may have come from Greece, they have been found in ancient Egyptian tombs, including Tutankhamun's tomb.
It has also been known that the Ancient Greeks used Juniper Berries in many of their medicines long before applying them into their culinary dishes while the ancient Romans used this berry as a domestically-grown subsitute for the expensive black pepper and long pepper imported from India.
