What is your occupation?
I am a personal trainer and business owner. My husband, Jeramy Freeman, and I own our own personal-training business called Well Rounded Health and Fitness.
Was there a day or an event that triggered you to want to lose weight? If so, what was it?
I purchased a size 10 pair of jeans, and they looked horrible. Plus, I was very upset that I had to buy a size 10, and that made me want to do something about it.
Did you follow a diet and exercise plan during your weight loss? If so, what did it consist of, and how did it differ from your regular routines?
I believe that if you want the same results, you should do the same thing you have always done. This time, I did things different. I tried circuit training. It was two days per week, indoors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also did cardio every day. I did my abs whenever they weren't sore. I never used weights when I did abs. I used my own bodyweight and did a lot of things like leg lifts and ball exercises. In regard to my diet, I decided to go very healthy and clean. My diet was all about feeling good and removing toxins from my body. I had all fresh foods from broccoli, fish, chicken very organic, clean healthy foods.
What was the most difficult part of losing weight, and how did you overcome it?
Combating the cravings was the hardest part. I know that cravings are either a trained response in your body when you are hungry or a sign that you're lacking something in your diet, whether it is nutrition or vitamins. I am a chocolate freak, and I want chocolate almost every day at 6:00 p.m. It was very hard to control the cravings and not find some chocolate to eat.
