How do you remove a water-based Nail Polish?
Remove the polish weekly for easiest removal. Water-based nail polish can become hard-to-remove if left on the nail for extended time.
Why is Water-based so much better?
Environmentally Friendly: Conventional nail polish contains large amount (typically around 70%) of chemical solvents such as toluene, acetates and alcohol. When nail polish is applied to nails, these solvents evaporate to the air, generating toxic chemical fumes. The air becomes polluted and the odour is offensive to persons (adults and children) and even to animals. This is why many people find it is hard to breathe when using conventional nail polish: you are surrounded by heavily polluted air, inhaling Toluene, acetates etc chemical solvents. Not only do the chemicals reach the lungs, but they are also directly absorbed through the nails or skin in to the bloodstream. The ‘day in, day out’ compounded effect of wearing conventional nail polish can lead to high dgrees of toxicity within the body. Need we say more!
