I used to use Proactive, the chemicals in it damaged and dried my skin and ironically enough did not help my acne. In the long run it just masked the probelmt for a while. I wanted to use something all natural and got off all chemical skin care. Burt's bees Tomato soap has done WONDERS for my skin. My skin is now smooth, clear and glowing! One thing I want to point out is that if you were on chemical skin care products before your skin most likely purge out toxins for a few weeks causing breakouts before you see improvements. It happened to me but I stuck it through and now I'm breakout free. I tell everyone about this product because I know how it felt to have acne and how hard it is to find something that works. THIS DOES!

I just received this soap yesterday, and let me say, it is wonderful! The smell of crisp tomato is a great pick me up, not to mention my oil slick of a face was shine free for a few hours. I do recommend using the tomato toner in conjunction with this. The soap leaves a very slight film. The toner gets it all off. I believe I've found a product that is out of this world. I have used this product for 3 years. It is the most incredible product I have ever used. I used to use Proactiv Solution, and it was so expensive and my acne wasn't getting better. If you have oily, troubled skin, I would highly recommend this soap. It eliminates the oil and clears up problem areas pretty quickly. Do use the Garden Tomato Toner along with the soap for best results. My skin feels so clean after using these two products. It's great to have an effective natural alternative.

Can't rave enough. I have very, very oily skin. This soap combined with the tomato toner keeps my skin clearer than any of the expensive products in department stores. It just makes my skin feel really clean, but not over-dried or flaky. And like all Burt's Bees products, it smells wonderful.

I'll admit; I was skeptical. I've used so many other products, including ProActiv and Retin-A from a dermatologist when I was younger. However, nothing works for me like the tomato soap. Give it a try. Also, I've learned that if you happen to get liquid make-up on your clothing, you can rub some of this soap on the stain before washing and the stain will come right out.
